In analyzing the data, the researcher used a descriptive analysis. The data were analyzed based on figurative language theory proposed by X.J Kennedy. The object in this study is focused on figurative language used in “Pirates of Caribbean on Stranger Tides” movie manuscript and the sentence in the script become main focused that researcher going to analyze.
